3rd day in Paris! We really haven't accomplished much yet, but that's what today is for! I already wrote about the night we got here, so I'll start after that... We were super exhausted the first day here so we relaxed most of the day. We walked around the area, found a grocery store, etc etc. Alison knows a couple people in Paris, and Jocelyn told her that he'd take us out with his friends once we got here, so we ended up going out on Saturday.
Alison and I had to figure out their metro and bus situations, and met Jocelyn, Ben, Jerome, and Emily out and about. The first bar we went to was high class, one where you pay to sit at a table and order a bottle. Between the 6 of us we got a bottle of grey goose, which came with red bull, cranberry and apple juice. After that, we went to an Irish "nightclub" type bar. It was decent, overall we had a great time in Paris with everyone, and they all spoke decent English which was good.
They helped us get back to our hotel, where we continued to sleep most of the day away again. Yesterday was overcast and since it was Sunday, most everything was closed so we didn't have a chance to do much. We got Venice all booked and ready (Thursday!) which is fantastic!
Today we have a list of things to accomplish:
- book a train to Venice
- Eiffel tower
- the Louvre
- arc de triomphe
- notre dame
- tour of the seine
- angelinas cafe
- saint chapelle

We'll see how much we get done! It's sunny and supposed to be 82 :)
