Hello!

Had a really good flight :) We were very excited about the TV screens in the back of the seats! Got to Khao San about 9:30pm and had our first Pad Thai for a few months which was exquisite! Then we decided that rather than have an early night to sort out our jet lag, we would go to a club. A fun night, but spent most of the next day asleep, whoops!

Met up with my friends living in bangkok last nite, had a lovely but rather meagre meal (damn Thai portion sizes!) then hit some bars. Was great catching up :) I miss you guys!

Just got back from having a Thai massage each, feeling pretty good now but can never tell whether we actually like them or not!

We'll be catching a minibus very soon to Kanchanaburi, it's about a 2hr drive west from Bangkok. It's where the bridge over the river Kwai is and sounds like a pretty cool place with loads to do; let's hope the "lying" planet comes through for us.

Hopefully we'll have some interesting things to write about soon.
