Day 131: today wasn't such a good day, we managed to sleep through our alarm and missed bus our up the coast. We had to shell out the cash to catch the 9 hour train and then a 1 hour taxi up to the surf camp,spot X where we are staying! It was worth the money because we had an awesome time at the camp.

Day 132: last night after we had some food we had an early night as our first lesson this morning was at 9am. Today we learnt about different waves and rips and currents, then we were taken down to the beach with our surf boards to be shown how to stand up on the board. After a quick warm up we hit the waves! The first lesson was a success and we both managed to catch some waves! In the afternoon and after some lunch we just chilled on the beach.

Day 133: today was our second surf lesson and it was even earlier than yesterday, 7 am! Today was more about just practicing what we had learnt yesterday. After another successful 2 hours in the water our lesson finish. We relaxed round the camp in the shade for a bit and after lunch we hired out a surf board to see how good we are without the instructors! I'd say we were pretty good, it's a shame we can't keep the surfing up at home! At 5:30pm our greyhound bus arrived and we managed not to miss this one! We arrived in Byron bay around 9pm.
