Hello everyone!
well then.. I am in the heart of australia.. alice springs it is.. since the last time I wrote on my blog i have been to A FALL OUT BOY CONCERT!!! it was absolutely amazing..! and the warm ups were all american rejects and Hey monday. both of them were really good to! So friday was a really good night.. friday morning we left lovely Berte and drove to Brisbane. got a bit lost looking for the wicked office, but marthe has a good head on her shoulders and got us safely there..we just did s little sightseeing across the bridge a couple of times..hehe..

when we sent looking for a plave to sleep evetyrhing was full so, our only choice was to cross the river again and end up on the wrong side. well wrong.. we wanted to stay near downtown, but everything was full..but the ferries and buses and trains in brisbane are so good that it wasn't a problem. we just got to walk a little.. so after my concert I went back home, and was suprised to find Ingunn and Marthe in bed.. they were supposed to go out, while I was on my concert, but they told me they couldn't get in anywhere..because they didn't bring their passports..haha so fridag was the day Ingunn who is 26 didn't get in at a place with 18 as the age limit..you have to see the humour in that!

saturday we had to check out. we locked our bags in compartment boxes at the brisbane transit centre. then Ingunn and I took a bus to the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary just outside of Brisbane. Ingunn had wanted to atleast see a koala for so long, and I like animals to. Marthe is not really that into animals so she went to queen street looking for some new tops. Ingunn and I got photos taken of us with a koala and we went petting kangaroos. yes uncle Per Ole I know it is not the real deal, but the god damn animals haven't shown themselves for us tha last month. we were desperate!=) back in Brisbane we roamed the streets for a while before eating at a bar and grill called down under. looked like a fun place to party, not sooo good to eat in. but it was ok. some owner or something came up to us, and Ingunn and marthe told him they didn't get in last night and he felt so sorry for us. he got us free drinks coupons and told us to come back that same night. and if we had any trouble we should just ask for richie. to bad we had to go to the airport that night..

they locked the transit centre at midnight so we took a taxi to the airport then. I called my grandma, besta at home before going off to bed at some chairs. i was missing the beds then..Besta told me that it had snowed at home everyday since my mom and dad left for Thailand. so our neighbour and my sister is always moving snow so they can get in and out of the property. it is weird thinking about when I am sitting here in the desert in 40 degrees.

then we toook the flight in to Alice this morning. walked a bit in town, and relaxed some. tomorrow morning we will be picked up at 6 am to go on a 3 day tour into the desert. I will be sleeping under the stars and wake up to see the sunset over Uluru. Really looking forward to that!!!then on thursday we fly to auckland so I guess I will not be online until next weekend.. but we are doing great, getting by just fine and we have some interesting days ahead of us! so i will blog again after my desert trip and try to put out some new pics. until then.. see you later aligator!!
