Taj Mahal
"So what's the best thing a guy ever did for you?" She asked her girl travel buddies as they looked at the Taj Mahal....They all pondered. "A book of poetry about birds", and "chocolate" were pretty good answers but kind of insignificant really when you're standing in front of the world's most famous monument to Love.
The Taj Mahal is Impressive. Breathtaking. A little surreal. It might have taken me until just this moment to realize I really AM in India.
There were so many people visiting what is essentually a masoleum- but the scene was festive and the queues were quick. I really just wanted to rub my face along the cool white marble walls - but didn't, of course. Instead, I took the opportunity to do a few laps around the exterior and get a little exercise while admiring the view. Just another crazy tourist paying her respects.
