We arrived in the port of Quebec City which sits on the Saint Lawrence River and is the second largest French speaking city in Canada. Dating back to 1608 it retains its fortified colonial core with narrow streets, stone buildings and European feel. This area is the site of the Chateau Frontenac and Citadelle. overlooks the picturesque old city. Our plan today was to walk around this area and enjoy the sites and sounds.
