After spending a night in the delights of San Pedro Sula, we upped and left early the next day to catch the bus to our boat bound for Belize. When we got there we almost couldn´t believe our eyes... So we saw our first Mayan ruins yesterday, hurrah! We ended up arriving in Copan at about 9:30, thus rendering the 4am bus ride highly unnecessary. We arrived back in Antigua late on friday night, and following the advice of Josie who had been living in Antigua for 5 months checked into our hostel. After a night in Antigua, we headed to Lake Atitlan, infamous for it´s beauty, for a couple of days to relax (not that the past couple of days hadn´t been a delight..), so back to the chicken buses we went.
