Arrived in Bordeaux after a 2hr drive from San sebastian - it was hard to leave san seb we loved it. Bordeaux is a big city luckily our villa is tucked away in a oasis and is very peaceful. A walk around the city provides some sculptures by artist Jaume Pleusa - made up of multiple welded letters - the human shape encouraging silent contemplation.

Entry into the building

Our last day in toulouse was spent visiting a few landmarks - capitale du toulouse - government office with amazing artwork in the halls. Basilique saint sernin - once again an amazing church we were there just as mass was starting at 9am - beautiful. Next was Les Abbaittoirs - once upon a time a slaughter house but now a great building displaying contemporary art - 4 euros to get in - worth it for its unique display of artwork. I can't believe Paul is enjoying eating desserts so much in france - while in toulouse he has been ordering panacatta creme brulee - but when they look so good and taste amazing its hard to resist.

This morning came across a market with the biggest mushrooms we have ever seen. Grabbed some fresh fruit for breakfast and on we went.
