Let's just start this entry with it won't be as funny as the previous ones. My sense of humor is a little stressed at the moment. The corral and shade structure were built but I think everybody, including us, paid a heavy price. This construction job wasn't the kind of thing a bunch of family over 50 should do (per Michael, a structural engineer who was helping) but we gave it our best shot and it turned out pretty good. Bushay Campground, Lake Mendicino.......138 sites......First day 3 campers and us. It almost seems like the twilight zone. We have never had a campground so empty in the summer months. Never got more than 6 campers the entire time we stayed... Very surprising and a little disturbing since the campground, showers and potties included, was the bomb diggity. It was a fun few days, relaxing, doing pretty much nothing.....
