Weds we stayed at Wilson's Prom which was really nice. Definately the best camp site yet. The Squeeky BEach and Wilson's beach were both really really nice and we went for a paddle. The sun was also finally out and we had our 1st BBQ which was a reasonable success. We saw kookaburra's and then at night when I was just going to the toilet for the last time I opened the van door and heard something eating grass so I got the torch and we saw a really cute looking thing eating grass right outside, it looked like a little bear, all furry and cuddly, didn't have a clue what it was though. Then in the toilet there was a sign saying please don't feed the wombats with a picture. On the way back to the van there were loads everywhere. I like the wombat!  In the morning I slid open the door to see a kangaroo bouncing past! Only saw it for about 10 secs but it looked so funny bouncing along! Very big but bouncing effortlessly! It must have had a late night and was on it's way back to bed. Definately want to see some more of them and some koalas. The Australian's are even mopre friendly than the Kiwis, you always get tied up in a conversation!
