18th -20th may
Day 1: This morning we headed out of Paris. We picked up Vladimir from the parking building and found our way out of the city we drove through the French countryside. We went through the area were Champagne is made and was invented stayed in a place called Epernay. Heaps of vineyards. The camping ground was awesome with fun sports equipment. It was good after being in the city.
Day 2: We walked through Epernay and saw lots of Champagne making places I saw the biggest bottle in the world while the biggest I've ever seen it was huge drove off through more country side to a tiny little town called Buzancy it was nice and quit so we stayed the night.
Day3: Today we did a day trip to Verdun we learnt lots about ww1 and saw a French barracks it was cool we wandered round there was lots of gun emplacements and forts finally we went to a war graveyard it was huge. We went back to camp and played table tennis.
Day4: This morning we left France we drove all the way through a tiny country called Luxemburg into Germany took the Autobahn to Triers the cars went really fast in trier there was a huge roman gate it was awesome. We then drove down the Mozelle river there was vineyards on big steep hills every where and we saw heaps of castles. We got to a camping ground and there was a kiwi running the reception so we didn't have to try and speak German yay.
