Well we made it to New York... eventually.
After a 4 hour delay in Amsterdam due to some technical problems with our plane, we finally got across the Atlantic and landed at JFK. We got the AirTrain and subway into Manhattan (complete with some interesting characters to keep us entertained) and made our way to Kevin and Natasha's apartment, which is really nice and in an excellent location. Kevin took us out for a much needed burger and shake at Shake Shack, then we went for a beer at a local bar before heading back to the apartment.
Time to catch up on some sleep before exploring the city properly in the morning!
