When we got to Lorne, a small, lovely town, green and peaceful, we decided to call it a day.
We stayed at the Erskine River Ensuite Cabins which were across the street from "Foodworks", a local grocery store. Not having had breakfast or lunch meant we were starving, so it was a mouthwatering shopping trip, everyone grabbing what they wanted for supper. Margaret cooked it up and the menu wasn't half bad: tzatziki and pita appetizer (Connor had a huge fresh carrot), schnitzel, mashed potatoes, carrots, Greek salad, and chocolate mud cake for dessert. We also had a few cans of Bundy (Australian Bundaberg Rum) and Coke on recommendation of our friend, Ed. It was heaven having a homemade meal.
By 8:30 pm, we were all exhausted so we went to bed, happy to be in Aus.
