Happy anniversary! We decided that today would be a lay-around lazy day, spent swimming, lounging by the pool, reading, and updating the blog.
At the end of the day, we went out for supper for our anniversary. At first, we weren't going to take the kids but when we couldn't find a fast food place, we brought them along for pizza and spaghetti. Barry and Margaret had the meze (meze is not an appetizer (although meze dishes can be served as appetizers), but rather a dish, hot or cold, spicy or savory, often salty, that is served with other mezethes, as a complete eating experience); the meal was good, but too touristy for us. French fries just don't seem Greek enough. We ended the evening watching Face Off.
As we (Margaret and Barry) don't have much more to say today, we are going to post "The Musings of Connor and Tessa" instead. They keep a running journal, but not always on time, so this is your chance to hear their take on travel! Some of these entries have appeared on the blog before, but we are going to reprint them in their entirety - look for the other entries from Corfu on Sept 3 to read them. Henceforth, we will try to keep their postings in synch with ours.
