After a hectic weekend of lunches with family and friends, we finally departed Sydney at 5pm on our 28-day adventure to kangaroo island in South Australia and the Great Ocean Road along the south coast of Victoria.

We are spending 4 days around Xmas in Renmark on the Murray River which is 1,200km away!

Between Goulburn and Yass there's a wind farm really close to the road - mum had been there recently for work, so she was able to tell us all about the turbines at Cullerin Range!

We arrived at the Yass Caravan Park at 9pm and got the last drive through spot, which was handy. It was too late for a proper dinner, so after a light snack it was bedtime.
