Sri Lanka is one of Char's favourite places in the world, however there has been something which has played on her mind since arriving that has made her feel uneasy. Last time we were here, there was a guy who carried around a snake in a bag and a monkey on a lead around the beach, and used them to make money from idiotic tourists who thought it was a good idea to take a photo with them. What Python in its right mind allows a little monkey to jump about on it or a human to smile with it round it's neck, why do people not understand this? It's clearly sedated. Anyway with Char's fear of snakes she was hoping that this guy no longer existed and after two days she thought this was the truth. This was until she heard the quiver in Matt's voice as he shouted her name and saw two feet stood at the end of her sunbed. She didn't even need to look up, she knew instantly. Matt didn't know she could move so quickly but up she ran into the bar. Matt tried to explain in broken English that she didn't like, "No not the monkey, THE SNAKE!" That was her on edge for the rest of the day.
Needing to get our relaxation back on it was massage time and then we met Dani and Jimmy for dinner and drinks.
