Today we headed to Koh Rong (Feeling slightly hungover). The pick up was interesting.... how many people can fit in a pick up truck plus their bags.... 18 is the answer!! It was a very bumpy, nautious ride! Once on the slow ferry (That is its actual name!) we had the joys of listening to a drunk French ukulele. Today was an early start exploring the town - our first solo moped session. Sihanoukville was our oyster. Joe gave us some advice - to keep $1 note in our pocket to bribe the police when stopped (as we would be driving without a Cambodian license - which everyone does!) We set off, with map in hand, heading to Serendipity beach - the 18-30s area! So we grabbed some quick breakfast. Events of the day - 1. The beach being cleared - Our first thought... tsunam...

Today was our island hopping trip (Or so we thought). 1 island and 2 snorkelling stops. The first snorkelling stop consisted of Matt jumping back and screaming like a girl at a giant jellyfish. The football sized jellyfish was cupped in his hand during breaststroke! This resulted in slinging the snorkel with a hole in it and the blurred goggles back onto the boat and swearing alot. At 8am, 8:30am Cambodian time we caught a very squashed bus to Sihanoukville. We jumped off after 2hours at Otres 1, hearing a lot of stories which put us off the famous Serendipity beach - mainly involving 60year old guys with 18year olds! We headed to find a hostel but kept turning up JUST too late. We had heard good things about one but couldnt find it so we asked a tuk tuk.... It's 5 minutes away he told us so we jumped in. 30seconds later, 3 guesthouses do...

Today involved a trip to Bokor National Park and waterfall..... Or should we say roads, a casino, an abandoned hotel and the FALL. As we climbed the mountain on windy roads we came to a tacky gigantic statue of Buddha, a temple with 'Modern day Monks'(Monks mixing cement!) and finally a waterfall minus the water! The view from the top looking over the national park, right to the coast was out of this world.... until the clouds decided to cover it! Still the 2 min...
