Oh my god, last night was SOOOOOO much fun!! I am so glad everything worked out fine for me coming here and forever grateful to Euan for paying for my ticket! <3

Yesterday me Sarah, Stacey and Jane all met up in the bar of the amazing hostel, it looked even better by day cause you can see just how close you are to the sea, the amazing pool and just how beautiful Maggie Island is! We decided to rent out a car and had heard of these awesome Barbie cars that you can hire out for the day. It was a bit stressful at the beginning cause Stacey didn't want to come and obviously her and Sarah were travelling together but me and Jane convinced her to just come with us and we had such a ball!! So glad Stacey didn't come cause it would have totally ruined out day with her negativity! We walked the 2km to the barbie hire place and the cars just looked so awesome!! They are like little plastic pink/white cars with no roof and are just really miniture!! So glad we decided to do it! I was a bit hesitant at first cause I'm so skint but we managed to get money off too cause we were late in getting it and could only get it till 5pm.

We had such a blast driving about the island and it is a gorgeous place to drive around and take in all the views. There are a couple of gorgeous beaches that we drove too and had lunch etc. We were just like typical barbie's - 3 blonde girls driving about in our bikini's beeping at hot guys or really anyone we passed! Jane and Sarah are so nice aswell and really makes me want to do the East Coast again cause I've finally met people who I would love to travel with and connect with so well! Jane is really quirky and has such a unique style with long blode hair, absolutly gorgeous face and kinda barbie looking, But she has these amazing tattoo's and is so un-barbie its unreal! Sarah is a bit more like me and a bit more plain but is just such a laugh and so out going its great! Wish I could stay longer with these girls and we could travel together but hopefully we can meet in the future!

In the Barbie Car we also took our snorkelling gear cause we got told about this amazing beach that you can snorkel at and there's loadsa turtles etc but you can't drive down to it in the hire cars cause so many accidents happen so you need to drop the car off the walk down to it, but it's a bit of a walk! Never realised just how far till we started on it and OMG, it was exhausting!! Even getting to where we drop the car off was a adventure cause Jane doesn't have her driving license so we said she could just have a wee drive so after lunch she drove to the drop off point. The only thing was she didn't tell us, and probably didn't even think about it!, but she didn't know how to brake! So there we are, in this little plastic pink car, 3 blondes all in bikini's and screaming cause were trying to brake the car!! It was so funny!!!! Luckily we had that to keep us amused till we trekked to the beach cause it took us AGES!! There was no shelter from the sun either so the sun was beating down on us and we were all dehydrated, not knowing how far we had or if it was even worth it. There was a few times we contemplated turning back but "We've came this far, surely it can't be much further" ... 45 minutes later we get there and OMG, the beach was GORGEOUS!! Once we got there we didn;t have much time cause we had to trek back and drop the car back so we just went in for a quick swim but right at the waters edge Sarah saw this massive sting ray and that kinda put us off! Me and Jane went in further with our snorkelling gear but we both ended up freaking out and just turned back!!
Luckily the trek back wasn't as bad - althought we didn get offered a lift from some random guy we thought it was best just to walk through the blistering heat back to the car!

Before dropping the car off we had to get stocked up on tonight! I've decided to go fancy dress for thr Full Moon party so had to buy stockings etc for my outfit and Sarah got a devils stick and horns and most importantly... BEVVY!!! Got a bottle of voddy to get us going for tonight!!! Was so excited for it!
