So leaving Siem reap on another night bus that we were told had beds and it only ended up with reclining bloody chairs!! No worries though me and benj laid down the aisle and slept the whole 6hrs to the border, sweet!!
Crossing the Thai border and getting our visa again but by land this time was a complete ballache queuing for an hour or so in the red hot morning sun with massive rucksacks, you think we'd be used to it by now ;) All the locals just walking through border with huge crates of raw smelly food, and home made cages with live animals inside them and everything else you could think of, that was an experience in itself just seeing that!! Haha
After finally gettin through the border the transfer bus was miles behind schedule so we had to pay for a separate taxi to Bangkok airport to catch our flight to Chang mai.. Then once in Chang mai we had to get a 3hr minibus to Pai.. About 18hrs journey all in one go which I can honestly say we handled pretty good :) proper loving it too :)
