So after that gruelling 27hour journey from north Thailand to south we were both like zombies! Haha Not wanting to waste any of our days or time we got showered, changed and straight out in the sun!! Ko Samui is full of Aussie's and really expensive to the point where some things were dearer than back in England so as you can imagine me and benj, being as tight as we are, we're wounded haha. We both looked pretty ropey and looked like we havnt eaten for days so...

Right so we've not really been looking forward to today but the time has arrived.. Usually we'd be buzzin about Boxing Day!! Ha Today we encountered a 27hr journey straight off in one go!! Up at 6:30am and got into town to catch the minibus from Pai to Chang Mai = 3hours.. Once arrived in Chang Mai we had to hang around = 2hours to get a sleeper bus to Bangkok = 10hours. Once in Bangkok we had make our way to airport and wait for a bloody flight to Surrat Thani...

So it's Christmas Day in Pai!! To be fair doesn't feel like Xmas at all here as its not much of a English tourist place so nobody really celebrates which I was pretty gutted about! :( To get ourselves in the festive spirit last night we bought a couple of hot chocolates and a pair of Santa hats and drove round beeping our horns shouting merry Christmas to everyone like a set of t*** ! Haha. Today we decided to drive to some caves in the mountains over 30km awa...

Christmas Eve!! Our first full day in Pai. First things first, so off we go to get some mopeds!! It's the cheapest and most efficient way of getting around the town and obviously most fun!! Ha. So we went straight to the waterfalls to start with!! Sliding down the waterfalls and landing in the lagoon was a top buzz maybe because the water was freezing cold! Haha pretty dangerous too to be fair as there was a 40ft drop if u carried on sliding and didnt stop yours...

So leaving Siem reap on another night bus that we were told had beds and it only ended up with reclining bloody chairs!! No worries though me and benj laid down the aisle and slept the whole 6hrs to the border, sweet!! Crossing the Thai border and getting our visa again but by land this time was a complete ballache queuing for an hour or so in the red hot morning sun with massive rucksacks, you think we'd be used to it by now ;) All the locals just walking throu...
