things got a lot worse before they got any better! after a game of kings and a lot of goon ended up havin a massive arguement with john. the s***ty weather meant we couldn't get away from each other and was kinda inevitabele anyway! if someone would have offered me a plane home i would have got on it! anyway, that was 5 days ago and actually had our first mini conversation this mornin!!

the next day we managed to get off that island! hurrraaahhhhhh! although the weather was clearin on magnetic island the rest of the queensland coast however was not! nearly did't make it out of townsville as the rivers were sweelin and cuttin off roads! luckily we made it out and to airlie beach. rain rain rain pretty much the entire time!

i was soooo lookin forward to the whitsunday islands and honestly thought was goin to be a highlight of my trip. so, needless to say when we headin for the boat in a torrential downpour i was not so optimistic and very let down by the weather. nearly didn't get on the boat! but, pulled myself together and got on, bunch of frenchies and a bunch of irish. i was pretty much the only english person in 52 people! we had a really good time though, we were aboad the clipper, the crew were awesome and everyone generally had a laugh. managed to get 41 people in the hot tub which is a record for the boat! the snorkellin was AMAZIN! saw so many fish and coral, was beautiful. and me, laura and janina jumped off the top of the boat into the water! janina is nearly over her fish phobia, or so i thought until one of the crew deceided to throw fish food around us when we were tryin to get back on the boat. janina was sooo scared she nearly pushed me under whilst tryin to get onto my shoulders away from the fish! ha ha. whitehaven beach was beautiful! the sand was so pure and cool and the water was clear! apparently, becasue the sand is so pure if lightenin strikes the beach is produces a sheet of glass over the beach!

and then we also spent a lot of time learnin different languages on the boat! well, learnin how to say i love you! phoenetically - curry tea (welsh), ich lieb disch (german), maltease-se-tut (bask) and je'taime (french). and just randonly yellin out the only foreign words we knew to people! god damn the language barrier!!!

onto rainbow beacj today and fraser island! whoooop!
