well, we arrived in cairns a couple of days ago and it has rained ever since! never thought to look into when the rainy season was but it turns out its now! had a fantastic day yesterday! we went to the great barrier reef and saw so much. didn't even matter that it was rainin. the water was soooo warm and we snorkelled loads and did the glass bottom boat thing. saw all kinds of fish, stingrays, turtles and even FOUND NEMO (that was our mission for the day). and...

i think i'm a bit behind writin on this but i've been far too busy havin far too much fun recently! haha christmas was fantastic! we arrived in echuca and pete picked us up and we drove on to bunaloo! bowdie is sooooo big, she was just a little pup when we last saw her 6 months ago. and butch had been bitten by a snake and died, porr thing. so anyway, we went to the 'postmans ball' which turned out to be a bbq in a shed on a farm! was good fun though. xmas eve, ...

this is my last night in alice springs! i'm not that sad becasue i haven't done much since i've been here but have managed to work quite a bit which is good. i've been tryin to work on my tan but it's harder work than u might think!! last shift at work today, no more bed makin or hoovering and then moppin for a while which is a relief! i will be a bit sad because everyone i work with here is really nice. we had a christmas doo on wednesday night which was great....

first week and a half in alice sprigns has been pretty uneventful! beenworkin loads in the hostel which is good andhaven't been out much which is good coz save money! work is good, the heat is tiring though! but we have got a pool! i'm very excited about xmas! whoooop! i'm flyin to melbourne on 21st dec and headin to echuca after that for christmas festivities at jims! can't wait!

well, we survived!
