this is my last night in alice springs! i'm not that sad becasue i haven't done much since i've been here but have managed to work quite a bit which is good. i've been tryin to work on my tan but it's harder work than u might think!! last shift at work today, no more bed makin or hoovering and then moppin for a while which is a relief!

i will be a bit sad because everyone i work with here is really nice. we had a christmas doo on wednesday night which was great. we had the biggest prawns i've ever seen and i tried oysters...just though they tasted a bitlike mussels. god knows where they get seafood from this far inland!!

and john left this mornin to go back to adelaide :( was great seein hm, managed to get very drunk on thursday night in bo jangles and then just hung out yesterday, bought him a new ipod coz he;d managed to lose it in the outback somewhere....possible kings canyon! haha. not long till get to see him, janina and the old backpack oz gang in sydney for new year and then our east coast adventure!

headin to melbourne to see colette and sian tomorrow, sounds like they r havin a ball in melbourne!! and then onto jims for xmas on the farm on tuesday!
