my camera is stupid. stupid. stupid. stupid. i still can't get the pics from the camera to the computer to put on here. it will have to wait coz we're not anywhere long enough to try and get it sorted out.

today has been brilliant. we r stayin in 'le prison hotel'...our room doesn't have any windows but it is nothin like prison. it is actually quite nice, even without windows! although woke up this mornin and still thought it was the middle of the night coz it was pitch black! went out for a few drinks last night to the reggae bar down the street. haven't managed to find much of a party atmosphere here yet but goin out for abit tonight as we don't leave till 9 am in the mornin.

today we have been to the menera KL tower as on a monday the petronus towers r closed. the view was amazin. could see for miles and miles and miles over the city. and it just goes on! the tower was complete in 1996 and is 421 metres tall. it does look kinda like the radio city tower in liverpool but taller! we even managed to walk there. most of the way by ourselves as marielle and mercedes went to see about changin their flight. on the way we found times square shoppin centre although we couldn't find the rollercoaster. well, we didn't look that hard coz more excited about the tower!

and then after the menera we walked to the petronus towers. walking there isn't that impressive as we just walked towards the 2 massive towers that u can see form almost anywhere! there is a shoppin centre at the base of the towers and it was the best ever! it was massive and had every kind of shop. there was louis vitton and tiffany and we even went to top shop!!!!! was great. we tried on loads of clothes and even indulged in the sale! ha. and i managed to buy the book i left on the bus the other day so at least i get to know how it ends. and on the way back to the hotel i got some knock off gucci perfume!

KL is great. there are so many different people wanderin around and so many different sights and smells and foods. wish we could spend longer here coz there is so much to see and do. the city is massive and there is everythin here from massive sky scrapers to local markets. there does seem to rather alot of mcdonalds and kfc's though. not entirely in keepin with the theme! and tomorrow we leave here and go to melaka for the day. that is the last stop before singapore!
