It's our last day , all very sad no sailing just clearing up and spending the day in Gocek. We left "Don"t Panick" at 9.30 and found the Blue Monkey Restaurant where we spent the day by the swimming pool. We had the pool and garden exclusively to ourselves and excellent service . An enormous lunch of freshly baked bread meze and pizza ,called for a siesta before a visit to the shops for last minute purchases. Another swim before afternoon tea and returning to the base to find that there was no water for showers! Our coach arrives in an hour so the boys have gone for a run so there could be a hot and sweaty group going home. Half an hour until the coach and the water is back on, so no panic!
The journey back to London was better than coming out as the children mostly slept but Duncan got the shot straw this time, the aisle seat in the row with two large ladies so he wasn't a happy boy but we managed to sleep on the journey and arrive at Gatwick to say "Happy Birthday "to Graham. The only hiccup of the trip had to be now when we waited for an hour for our luggage, but at least there is not much traffic at 2am on the M25.
So back home after a lovely week's holiday , we had loved the luxury of a catamaran, the weather was dramatic at times , the scenery was lovey, the Turkish hospitality was very good, the food was great, the winds varied, the water was warmish, the fishing was useless, the Pilates classes were awesome, but most of all the company was fantastic!
