The youngsters did well by departing early yesterday and leaving the cleaning for the oldies. Various things had been left behind including Duncan's cold which seemed to be doing the rounds (well we have to blame someone). Being super efficient we finished cleaning and decided to have a last walk across the beach to Polzeath instead of wasting any more time on the puzzle. A bright and very breezy morning enticed the runners out onto the coastal footpath. The climb up Brea Hill was rewarded by stunning 360 degree views and a few Strava segments accomplished! Forecast for Bank holiday Monday is fine in the morning and then rain, so we attempted to get an early start for our bike ride to Port Isaac. There was a non biking option of a trip to Padstow for those who had not gone on Friday.
