Day 6......

This morning we had to catch an early flight to Hangzhou from Xi'an. Our wake up call was at 5am.

We got to the airport and we flew with Hainan airlines! The airport was very crowded and again as custom in China people clearing their throats and spitting on the floor - I'm getting quite annoyed with this now and it really does make you want to vomit.

We got served breakfast on the plane the choices were fried rice or noodles...surprise, surprise. Also the coffee already had milk and sugar in which was weird. Don't think they have any concept of allergies, veggies or even hygiene for that matter. The plane journey was very bumpy!

After a good landing we headed to collect our luggage and once again it was raining. When we collected our luggage it was all wet! We got the bus from the airport to our hotel. We all set off to do some sightseeing around the west lake.

Really wish the weather had been good as the lake was beautiful and this is one of our favourite cities, everybody seems a bit more relaxed. The whole group sat in Starbucks and we had a good laugh. Johanna from Sweden has advised the new drink is St. Tropez it's Rose wine with Fanta and all the posh people in Sweden drink it, maybe I will start a new trend back home. The other Swedish girl is actually called Therese and the weird thing is we are actually a like.

After visiting the supermarket to get some breakfast we headed back to the hotel me, Lee, Johanna, Therese, Emma & Candi (Essex) & Petra from Austria. Yes poor Lee is stuck with all the girls (he isn't complaining haha). We got lost for over an hour, when it turns dark every city lights up and it all looks the same, we had to look for shops we remembered like Jack Jones, Vero Moda etc. We eventually made it back then me, Lee and Emma headed out for some tea.

I then spoke to Brian it was lovely to hear his voice and the first time we have been able to speak to home but we had to get Brian to ring the hotel.

Next we head to Wuzhen canal then to shanghai all by private bus.
