Hello,
So we've moved into our new hostel. It's actually really nice... and warm, which is a step-up from the last one. Nothing against these traditional Japanese buildings but they could learn a thing or two about insulation. The new hostel is huge. Our room is a 12 bed dorm, but it's one of those pod rooms, so it's like living and sleeping in a coffin.
Went to Mount Fuji today. We thought we were onto a winner with the price but it turned out the price we were quoted only got us half way there, so it ended up costing us twice as much. Got to see the mountain though. Some fantastic views. It was really sunny, apart from some cloud covering half the mountain, so the photos don't do it justice, but we saw it... honest. Trying to get all the photos uploaded but the internet here is retarded so it may have to wait.
Been in Japan for 5 days now and had Starbucks 3 times, McDonalds twice and Domino's once... living the dream.
Last day tomorrow!

Siobhan Well i`ve only been here five days so far lauren but have had kinda enough clothes. Had to borrow lees socks this morn though. Mum it is still japanese starbucks and I actually haven't had any mcdonalds, just lee xxx P.s any news from goldsmiths?
Dad I've got to grips with the computer at last and have enjoyed reading your blog. Hope you enjoy the rest of your stay in Japan and that Australia isn't too wet. Apparently, there are floods in Victoria now !!xx
