We decided to go Vinpearl today. You can get there by cable car. It takes you from Nha Trang harbour to Vinpearl (it's the worlds longest across-the-sea cable car at 3,320m in length and traveling at 40-60m above sea level) We thought because you can see it from our hotel it was in walking distance.... Erm it wasn't. It must have been a holiday or something because all the shops were shut on the way. We hadn't had breakfast and were really thirsty so we just trooped on like donkeys chasing a carrot. After 45mins we flagged a taxi! It was 400,000 dong each to go in the cable car then entry was free. As soon as we got there we went for food! It looked like everything was closed because no one was around?! It just wasn't busy. We went on a couple of rides that normally wouldn't be that scary but couldn't help but think of the health and safety differences between our countries... We survived and went to the waterpark. It was brilliant. No queues! We went on the space hole. Lee got winded ha you should have seen his face as he came up out the water. It was like he'd been swimming from the bottom of the sea ha still makes me laugh ha. We moved on to the Tsunami slide. We both got in a ring and the man, who worked there, cackled as he pushed us off. I swear we nearly went over the edge! We had a race on the bumpy slides but mine was broke. Even when we swopped (because Lee won) my slide was still broke?! It just wouldn't make me go fast? After slowly floating in our donuts around the lazy river (I developed a backward butterfly effect that made me like a speed boat! Lee kept falling in. He can balance on a motorbike but a dingy in the water...no can do) we went to the arcade. Everything was free! Lee got overly excited on the horse race game. I recorded him but he made me delete it. Ha he was really going for it tongue out and everything! (He let me keep the picture I'd took) oh we went a 4d picture show were they randomly squirted water and air in your face as well as wearing 3d glasses and the chairs moved. After all the excitement we headed back. We wanted food for the bus journey in the morning and some goodies to chill out to a film so we went for a walk to find a super market.... We got lost. When we started seeing signs for Nha Trang we realized we'd gone too far. There were no tourists or shops just people sitting in the street and in the homes looking at us as we wondered into random street after street. Our defense tactic to stop us from getting mugged was to act like we knew where we were going.... Yeah I got bored of that game after a bit and asked a local. He pointed us in the right direction and we were on our way back. You will never believe this but as we were getting closer we bumped into a huge mega superstore! We bought some biscuits, coco pops and milk (for breakfast in the morning) oh and some Choco pies - they seem to be everywhere so we wanted to give them a whirl- they look like wagon wheels but the biscuit parts cake and there's no jam. We got a taxi back. Lee had stumped his toe on the 2 hour walk to the shop (that turned out to be 10 mins the opposite way from the way we'd walked from our hotel) so we cleaned and plastered it up and went for food. We hadn't ate since the breakfast/ lunch that we'd had earlier in the day. We were famished and tired! After food we went back and watched a film (bunny house, BUNNY HOUSE) ha funny film!
