Arrived in Phuket early evening, very hot and very busy! Checked into out hotel (Deevana Patong) which is lovely and went exploring.

Snapshot...

Hotel - Very nice, away from all the hustle and bustle and just a 10 min walk to the beach.
Patong Beach - spent out first full day on the beach, swimming and tanning, with a few cold beers along the way.
Diving - Awsome, spent two days doing our 4 qualifying dives top get our Open Water Qualification (all done and dusted...yay!). Glad the see sickness tablets worked because the second day was very choppy! Saw some cool stuff, including a reef shark...and got a cool DVD of our dives.
Food & Drink - lots of nice places to eat and plenty bars to choose from. Loving the cocktails (especially the Mai Tai's) and Andre is loving the local beers :)

Now off to Phi Phi Island for a few relaxing days in the sun....
