I have travelled to halong Bay where i got a boat over to Cat Ba island, Hanlong bay is mady up of over 2000 islands and is so pretty, at the moment the weather is not the best is is very misty and will be like it till the end of April when the sun comes out, well what have i done lots i hired a moto bike out and a frend i met michael caught me how to ride it so cool, was diving along the clif faces awith the sea below wind in my hair . well after and exciting morning of riding we stopped off at a village for lunch, we met a couple who was travelling with a boy only 18 months old, the locals dont get to see sall white children so were fussing around him all the while we were eating. after lunch back on bike around the island lots of rice paddy fields and cliffs up and down. that evening we met up with some people we met in hanoi Craig and Richard, it was craigs Bday so of course we went out celebrating of to a doddy club. next day lazed around caught up on my dairy and read my book didnt really do anything, next day hired a bike again had one to myself getting better and away we goagain, once back we booked up on a rock climbing day, so early next morning we get a boat to the middle of nowhre and start climbing,i fell and as i fell cut all my legs on the rock sopainfull was up there with my legs bleeding finaly i made it down, the acutal climb wasnt to bad btu the cuts were. so i attempt the next rock a bit harder but i didnt cut my self, so hard to find places to put your feet but i did make it up to the topit was a short kayak trip back to the boat where we had so much for lunch veg rice meat spring rolls sogood. back to a different island where we could climb again i didnt do any more climbs i think when i fell i must have banged my knee as it was so sore, there were a few people there who had been doing rock climbing for a while and they wee going really high, at the end of the day 2 guys who were really good when deep water soloing which is where they climb a rock with no rope and if they fall the fall in the the deep water below, i didnt fancy that at all the two guys climbed about 25 meters then jumped in to the water, it was so cold they were shevering the rest of the way hoe. didnt stay out late that night at alland when i got back michael had left to go some where else so had a room tomy self, ell asleepabout 7.3 so tired, next morning was leaving the island so got up early as we had to catch a bus to the boat dock then a boat to the main land we here we caught a bus half way to hanoi and then changed to get another bus the rest of the way to hanoi, was really empressed as all the buses and boats were on time think thats the first time since i have been out here, wellwe arrived back in hanoi and booked a train ticket to go to Sapa right in the north in the mountains but all that was left were hard sets so we thought cant be that bad, how wrong we were.
