Headed on to Dunedin for a couple of days where I packed in museum, chinese garden, Larnach castle and plenty walking. The steepest street in the world, Baldwin St, nearly killed me but was worth it. Quite liked Dunedin though. Would've quite liked to have stayed for a day or so longer but the Catlins was a-calling!

Went to a few stops on route mainly beach places but all beautiful. Exposed coastline along the south but it makes for very dramatic coastline. The Catlins are great for walks and hikes and waterfall chasing is fantastic!! Spend nearly a whole day doing just that!

Cathedral caves are also on the coast and timing it right to get there for the gates opening at low tide was very good. Arriving on the massive beach with just three people in front of me was brilliant. Very happy to be back on the road and finding these places to visit :)
