Monday, we hiked at 7:30 all the way down to Panboche (3995m), we arrived at lunch. The helicopter continued to fly over throughout our hike, we saw a landslide falling on the mountain opposite us and we walked through a really badly damaged village, every building was broken and we felt so bad just walking through, like we were just abandoning them, couldn't look them in the faces. Sunday, we met for breakfast as normal at 7:00, people confirmed that we did actually experience 2 more aftershocks in the night which Laura had felt but was unsure as there didn't seem to be any commotion so just decided she must have dreamt them. Sangam didn't say much, we didn't expect him to but almost wanted him to for reassurance which he did give in advising we would proceed today on our hike. Saturday, it was still snowing when we woke up, we had breakfast and started hiking at 8:30, boys still wearing their shorts! It was a short hike to Dingboche (4400m), we arrived at 11:00 but our bags in our room and had lunch, we played cards as normal. At 14:00 the ground started to tremble, Laura thought it was just a helicopter flying low, Sangam said it was an earthquake and looked as if he was just expecting it to stop, but the building started to shake too...

Wednesday, we had breakfast at 6:30 and started hiking at 7:00, the path was still fairly easy with a gentle incline, lots of Sherpas, some waterfalls, about 10 more scary bridges, it was nice and sunny.
