Well we finally arrived into our last destination in South Africa, Johannesburg. I have too admit that we barely did anything except visit the mall firstly because  we wanted to save money and secondly there is a lot of scaremongering stories around that kind of puts you off venturing out anywhere, all probably not true but im sure some have good standing.

So not much to report really except do not stay in gemini hostel it is rubbish however I thnk there are very few hostels of good standard from what I heard from travel buddies.

my only other trauma to report came from when i went to get on my flight to Australia and the woman behind the counter informed me that I was not allowed to get on the plane. She went away and came back and said that I had to stay in Johannesburg for three weeks until the problem with my passport was sorted........hmmm problem with my passport I had been through four different countries by this point and there hadnt been any problem. In anycase my first thought was when was the next flight back to the uk!!!!

As it turned out the woman was completely winding me up much to her amusement and not mine I can tell you and that my travel agent had made a mistake with my visa. After much nervous laughter we got on the plane and went on our merry way to the land of Oz
