We have now spent three days in Japan and we are loving it. Although it]s mad it]s nowhere near as mad as I thought it would be. It]s a massive city but so well organised that you]d never know that 12 million people live here.

We]ve spent loads of time just wandering round and have gone up the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building and seen great views over Tokyo. We have also eaten loads of sushi, ramen and tempura and have seen loads of amazing buildings.

We are getting along ok with the language, and getting braver with it everyday. Today we went to Harajuku, which is very similar to Brighton:s Lanes and London:s Camden. It was a great place to wander around.

I better go as I shouldn]t really be using the hotel]s free internet to do this. Tomorrow we]re off to Ghibli Museum and then in the evening we]re getting the Bullet down to Kyoto. Really looking forward to all of those things.
