We decided to book another couple of nights, which gives us a day extra than we had planned. This meant today we could take some time out and not really do much!
We bought some North Face coats on our first day in Hanoi and we had some other stuff so we decided to visit the post office. We walked around to the other side of the lake and managed to find it pretty easily! After filling in a lot of forms and squeezing the stuff into the small box we were given, we were all done. Airmail wasn't that much more than boat, so there is even a chance it might make it home before us!
We then went for another wander around before deciding to do a cyclo tour. This is a bit like a small tuk tuk but driven by a guy on a bicycle! We squeezed into the small seat on the front and rode around for an hour, with our guy pointing out anything interesting. This included a part of Hanoi which was nothing by designer shop after designer shop!
We have headed back to the hotel for a bit of a chill before tonight, although we will probably be having an early one as we have to be up early for outlet trip to Halong Bay.
