Yesterday we finally left Koh Tao :(
We were up super early and made it to the pier for 5am to check in for our 6am ferry. Neither of us got a very good nights sleep so slept through most of the three hour ferry, waking up to be herded onto a bus to start the drive to Krabi. We lucked out again with our bus arriving at midday like we were told it would be. We were offered a cheap transfer to our guesthouse so we had to wait around a bit for this, but before long we were checked in and by the pool!
I had been offers a Skype interview at 5pm for a job when we get back, but they moved it at the last minute to 5.30. The free shuttle bus into town left at 6 and when I still hadn't heard anything by ten to I let them know I wouldn't be available. Luckily they have agreed to reschedule for next week instead.
We went into town but there isn't really much going on so we had a wander and a couple of drinks before getting the 8pm shuttle back.
Both of us were knackered after the lack of sleep and the travelling so had a quiet one and an early night!
Today has been spent by the pool again with a plan to go back into town for something to do later on.
