After checking out this morning we decided to go straight to Krabi. It took us no time to find a taxi boat to take us there and then it was just a short taxi ride to our accommodation. Soon after arriving we noticed posters of their other hotels on the walls and funnily enough one of them was the resort we had just come from!
This place was a lot more basic but still quite nice and we spent most of the day by their massive pool!
A really good thing about here is that although it is quite out of the centre they have a free service every two hoes that will take you there and back. About 4 we got a ride into town and went for a wander to look at the night market and around some of the shops. It is a lot less touristy than everywhere else we have been and we did feel a bit out of place. It definitely takes a bit of getting used to being back in the city after being on the islands for so long!
Whilst walking around the night market we found a stall that served cocktails in bamboo. They were really cheap as well considering how much we would pay for a standard one down on the islands! We decided to get the 8pm ride back and make the most of the fact that the pool is open until 10pm.
We got some drinks from 7/11 and made our way back to the pool. It looks amazing at night with all lights around the inside that change colour!
About 9.30 they turned all the lights off so we took our cue and went back to the rooms to play cards. We all decided to have another early night as we are planning on a later one tomorrow to hopefully celebrate Hana's exam results that she will be getting!
