Today we were up and at the airport by 7.30! Check in was pretty easy, although there was a lot of waiting to get through security and passport control. This meant by the time we got into departures there wasn't too much waiting around for our flight.
We landed in Bangkok at about 11.15 for our connecting flight to Chiang Rai. This also went pretty smoothly and left us with more than enough time to get some food as we were both pretty hungry by this point! A bit of sitting around and we were soon on our next flight! This landed at about 3.30 and it was just a short taxi ride to our guesthouse. It was a pretty nice day place with two gorgeous pugs! After sorting our stuff in the room we walked into town, quickly realising the location wasn't too great! However, it wasn't too bad and we were soon wondering around where they were setting up the night market. We were still full from lunch so went for a 7/11 toastie - I didn't realise how much I had missed this place! We grabbed a tuk tuk back and chilled for a bit before falling asleep!
