we arrived in Surfer's Paradise and thought what a crap hole. it was like a poor mans Miami. after checking into our hostel we went for a wander around the town. we did a spot of Billabong and Ripcurl shopping as it was to late to head to the beach.

that evening we had all you can eat pizza and we got our moneys worth as we are not amateurs unlike some who only had a couple of slices. later on we met up with a stalker of Laurens she does attract them bless her!!! we went out for a hot chocolate before going to a nightclub, as there is nothing like a hot chocolate before you go out drinking and no this was not our idea. we went to a club called bedroom which had the weirdest dress code in the world. it ranged from girls in little dresses to girls in jogging bottoms. it was alright, nothing great. we drank some wine which started to curdle with the hot chocolate and the pizza. it is not a brilliant combination.

the next day we went to the beach which was quite windy. in the evening we went out with the Irish girls in our room to a club called drink. it was full of Australian students who had been competing in a uni games thing. it was a really good night, better then the night before. the next day we left for Byron Bay
