we arrived in Kuala Lumpur at 6am after a 24 hour journey from Koh Samui which involved a boat, two mini buses and a coach where the air con was too high and dripped on you all night. When we arrived we went to a guesthouse and slept for a couple of hours.

when we got up we walked to the park area and Lauren went into a butterfly garden. i waited outside because i dont like butterfly houses. after that we went to the orchid garden which had some nice views of the skyline but the plants weren't brilliant.

after that we went to Chinatown which was interesting and had some food. it then started to rain at 6pm which it does everyday at that time. we returned to our guesthouse and slept as we were still tired from our journey.

the next day we got up early and headed to the Petronas towers to go on the skybridge. unfortunately all the tickets had gone because they were free so we wandered around the mall and brought jeans as we needed them for Australia.

when we finished shopping we decided to go to the Kuala Lumpur tower. it was dark when we went and the view of the city at night is amazing.

the next day we got up even earlier and managed to get tickets for the petronas towers skybridge. it was a good view and worth the early morning. later that day we left for Singapore in a very posh bus that had individual armchairs.
