Our final couple of days in Vegas were full as we tried to cram everything in one last time before leaving. We walked up and down the Strip enjoying it in the early morning light, the midday heat and the razzle dazzle of night. We viewed the free shows put on outside the different hotels - the erupting volcano, the pirate battles, the musical fountains, the indoor thunderstorms and the moving statues. We gaped at the exteriors and interiors always discovering more to awe us. We shopped with restraint (curse you luggage limits) at the outlet centres. Shoes that cost over $100 at home were around $30 here. The only thing we did little of was gamble. I know that is why many people come here, but who has time to gamble when there's so much else to do.
Now we are at the airport waiting to board for the long flight home. I can't believe it is over. It has been wonderful, every last minute.
