We finally made it to breakfast was lovely!. Made it to the airport for our flight to Myanmar (Burma). Even though the flight was only 1hour 30 mins we still thought we d browse the food menu but only had coffees. Literally got the drink and the air hostess was going round with the bin liner. Arrived in. Myanmar to a place called Yangon. Next drama was trying to get a taxi when none of new the address just the name. Convinced that the taxi man new his way we got in when actually this was not the case. He must have stopped 4 people to ask and all we could do was laugh but panic at the same time. Ended up down a dark alleyway when we saw a little sign for the t Venus hostel. Greeted by 3 boys (no older than 14) who straight away took our backpacks and showed us to our room. After we had checked in. With the lovely hotel man. These poor boys had to carry or very large backpacks up at least 7 flights of stairs. We were awkwardly shown into our room were they gave us sandals to wear inside ( bless). The room was to be expected basic! With a balcony that had railings on the side( prison scroll). The shower was cold and the bedding consisted of a sheet and a fluffy blanket ( the blanket looked like when you see them fleece jackets with the dogs on nice!). But even though it was basic it was actually just alright. As we were so hungry when we got there we asked for the nearest restaurant or just anywhere to eat the man told us there was a place down the road. We found a street full of electric shops, Samsung shops and backers ( full of just cakes). Found a little place to eat I were to get our order the waiter had a friend by his side( not really sure why). All the man seemed to do was smile at Lauren ( think she d found a new boyfriend). The food was okay but I ordered friend rice but it tasted slightly like the smell on the street a bit weird. All our meals came with this soup like dish none of us were ute whether to drink it first, poor it on our food or dip our hands in it. Needless to say entertaining. Also a cat decided to join us for diner were Laura and Lauren were sat panicking each other about where it was and I was instructed to 'sort it out' ( not quite sure what I was meant to do). Eventually the cat decided he had caused enough fuss and left us alone. Too much entertainment for one night we took ourselves to bed.
