This morning we got up and checked out of base hostel and then walked down to maze backpackers to dump our bags. We then headed to central station to meet my cousin Rachel who lives further north. Yesterday we enjoyed a lie in and leisurely morning, eventually getting up and walking down to the rocks - the harbour where the convicts originally came in. Woke up bright and early this morning and snuck out the dorm to get ready -didn't want to wake the others that were still sleeping. Not the most clever idea to stay out to the wee hours as we had planned to do the spit bridge to Manley harbour scenic walk. The walk is supposed to take 4.5 hours apparently but we managed it in 3 including a lunch stop at a park on the way. We arrived in Sydney on time, however absolutely exhausted as couldn't sleep.
