Florence, Italy

Today we did a whirlwind tour of Florence. Time went way too fast and Zi wasn't able to see the real Michaelangelo statue of David (only the replica). I also wasn't feeling well, so the climb up to the top of the Cupola del Duomo I had to give a miss to as well. I did manage a quick trip to the Uffizi gallery to see Botticelli's Birth of…

Dad and Faye. sunday 5th here. Did you find it difficult to get a decent pork or lamb All they seem to feature is tomato and cheese according to Cassie who was there a couple of yeas ago. Christina Japanese restaurant? How far has the fish had to travel ? that'd be my concern. Mediterranean is poor for marine life! Good luck and I hope you survive ;)

Di and Harry Harris Hi Laura, you seem to be in your element at the moment. We had a little chuckle at your Dad's comments because we had much the same feelings. We are now digging out the Greek cookbooks so that we can raise the standard of our catering for when you get home. So good to see you enjoying yourself so much. Much love from us
