Today we began with a trip back to the town of Moab for people to pick up some supplies. We headed straight to the state liquor store for some stronger beers for tonight (supermarkets can only sell beer upto 4% strength) to find that it didn't open til 11am , so we sat on the path outside and waited..we must have looked like tramps! After leaving Moab we drove to a swim spot in a reservoir (can't remember the name!). Was really good to cool off (the water was freezing!) For a couple of hours after being on the hot bus all day.
Our last stop of the day was at Goosenecks campground - one of the most amazing settings we've ever seen. It appeared out of nowhere on the bus - the Colarado river way below us, winding through the cliffs. After setting up camp we went to watch the sunset at the cliff edge, which was spectacular, the colours were amazing. We went back to camp and stayed up drinking beer and honey whiskey, listening to Charlie play his guitar. Raz also sang a song in Hebrew. A fantastc way to end another brilliant day!
