Today we decided to go and see Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, as it had already been out for a week and we were both desperate to see it. We caught the bus to downtown and went to Horton's Plaza, which is a big outdoor shopping centre on 5 floors. We bought our tickets to see the film in 3D then went to get some lunch at one of the places in the food court. Dave had a clam chowder soup bowl which he'd had his eye on since we first saw them in San Francisco!
We looked in a few shops and got some pic n mix for the film! We went in the clothes shop American Eagle which had a sale on, so I picked up a few items and called them my birthday present - $12 for 2 tops!
We both thought the film was amazing and the best out of them all. It's a long long time since I saw the first film on it's opening night with my friends while we were still at school - Amanda, Joanne and Becca!
After the film we got the bus back in time for the free dinner at the hostel - burgers! We're a bit sick of burgers by now but these ones were really nice, especially as they were free! I went to buy a few beers and we drank them on the back patio at the hostel while watching the games of beer pong (what a strange game!) going on. At about 9pm we headed to the irish bar a few doors down which had a Beatles tribute band playing called 'Help'. They were really good but it was a strange experience to watch and American band pretending to be from Liverpool playing in an Irish bar...! They sang a few obscure Beatles songs that we hadn't heard before, but everyone else seemed to be singing along. Maybe they had some hits in America that weren't big in England? Or maybe we just don't know enough Beatles songs!
We left before the band finished - they seemed to be doing a very long set - and went back to the hostel and chatted to a few English girls outside before retiring to bed for the night.

Dawn Aah, this has brought back memories of our summers at camp for me- I loved shopping in American Eagle and boy oh boy did we play a LOT of Beer Pong! Maybe you're too old for it, I was 19/20 at the time!
