Adam went to the gym again this morning (Fitness First have actually done something well for once), Adam hadn't had to pay to use the gym and they gave him a towel and there is loads of free drinks and stuff inside, loads better than the Halifax one! On his way back he picked up a few bits that we needed and a subway to push us on till the airport. We got ourselves packed and checked out and hailed a taxi to the airport. Everything is Singapore seems to be very efficient, we checked in immediately (granted the guy at the check-in desk was pretty slow but we think he was training as he had someone with him who he kept checking stuff with...). The airport is really clean and nice and it has loads of designer shops like Burberry, Mulberry, Gucci not just standard duty free. I needed a new mascara so I got one from duty free and Adam got a guitar magazine and we got a drink and just chilled out for a bit. There was a thunderstorm outside so we seemed to be flying on a good day rather than being stuck out in the rain!! We went to see if we could get in the Emirates Lounge but we couldn't!! The plan was slightly delayed departing but when it did, Adam and I just watched movies all the way to Brisbane. I tried to go to sleep and managed about half an hour but that's it. When we got to Brisbane Airport Adam was searched for explosives, I could not stop laughing, I thought they were going to make him strip or something! They didn't they just waved something over him!! We had bought 2 litres of gin in Singapore airport (both for about £16!) for the campervan and they scanned it through the baggage thing in Brisbane a few times and said that they might need to open it and test it, luckily they didn't! When we got through to the departure lounge the only thing open was a newsagents so we had a look and then went to try and find some seats and try get some sleep in the 8 hour wait for our flight to Auckland!
