Travel day to Uyuni. Quite morning exploring further around town, everywhere was still shut but I managed to buy a bottle of coke served in a plastic bag! Then a long bus ride to Uyuni, where we arrived at sunset and then we went out for pizza (no cheese on my pizza), and to the only bar in town where they had lots of challengers to do and interesting glasses.
The town used to depend on the custom from the train station with trains passing from the silver mines in Bolivia to Chile, until 19** when the train line was abandoned. Now the town depends on tourism from travellers visiting the nearby salt flats.
