Fantastic day in Salta horse riding, eating steak and wine! My horse looked quite like Salvador from the Lares trek so I named him Salvador the great. We rode for three hours along side fields and roads, and even through a village, and near the end I got to go for a gallop. It was a bit rainy and very grey so unfortunately we couldn't see the surrounding mountains but they had a huge electric heater, and of course a fire the meat was cooked on, so we could warm up back at the ranch. The steak was delicious and it just kept coming, I managed two but some of the boys ate 7 steaks, although I had 7 glasses of their homemade wine!
After a nap at the freezing cold hotel we went out for desert!
